As has been mentioned everywhere, Xerxes Wilson at The Daily Reveille did what may be the greatest investigative journalism from The Rev in quite some time. It's almost a boring interview until you get to the "liberal sodomite college" line.

Les Miles Post Practice Interview 11/18/09 (You'd think they could find a better spot to interview coach than the freaking generator room)

Baseball fall practice has ended as the Gold team takes the series with a 5-3 victory again led by offense from Austin Nola.

Bad News for the men's team as Alex Farrer's dislocated knee went from bad to worse during surgery 2 weeks ago. He may not make it back to the floor this season, effectively ending his LSU career. And start times for the NIT Tourney in New York have been set. LSU plays Uconn at 6pm Wed. night on ESPN2.

Hightower has been named to the woman's Naismith Watch list.

#17 Volleyball is playing a doubleheader at home this weekend, with a chance to get their first SEC title since 1991.

And Finally, condolences to UGA fans everywhere on the sudden passing of UGA VII. Tiger fans know all too well the pain of losing a mascot.

Big win last night as the Lady Tigers dominated #24 MTSU defensively to a 61-40 victory. They held them to 18-of-56 and made 31 points off of turnovers. The Ladies play mostly in-state cupcakes until after the 1st of the year.

All-access LSU v La Tech 2009

LSU has been doing a great job with these behind the scenes videos of home games. Conspicuously absent is various bits of 2nd half booing.

As the team preps, so do the press. Kleinpeter at the Times-Pic interviews a few defensive players about the challenge of stopping McCluster, Rosetta takes a look a Jefferson's progression this season, and Justin at bleacherreport.com remarks how this season is strangely mirroring 2004.

Lyle Hitt went on a medical mission trip last summer and wrote a short journal about his experience.

Baseball plays their final inter-squad game of the fall today at 3pm. Gold won game one on RBI's from Gibbs and Nola, while game 2 ended tied in a 1-1 pitchers duel.

Coach Miles had his weekly radio show was last night. Dandy Don has a great summary, or you could listen to it below

Les Miles Monday Press Conference-11/16/09

Big news from the Lunch: Jefferson, Dickson, and T-Bob are all back at practice and should start. The Arky game is mercifully at 6 p.m. on ESPN the Saturday after Thanksgiving (Dress Warmly). P. J. Lonergan was impressive filling in for T-Bob. And the final member of Les' original LSU coaching staff, RB and ST Coach Larry Porter, has been short listed for the Head Coach spot at his Alma Mater Memphis. Skip ahead to the 12-minute mark to get straight to the coach-speak.

Baseball will end fall practice will a 3 game inter-squad series at The Box starting tomorrow. All games are at 3pm and admission is free for you die-hards.

The soccer team's post season was cut short on Saturday with a loss at home in the Sweet Sixteen round of the NCAA tourney to Texas A&M 4-2 on penalty kicks after a 1-1 draw. As it is unfortunately the last soccer story for the year, it does give me an excuse to post that awesome logo of theirs.

The Men's team held on for a close 56-45 win over Indiana St in a game made close by poor tiger shooting despite Storm Warren getting his second double-double. You can read Jim Kleinpeter of the Times-Pic's excellent game blog, or watch it yourself below. The preseason NIT BR Region ends tonight at 7pm against Western Kentucky, the winner goes to New York.
