As you just saw, Ridley has made a name for himself and Les plans to give him more playing time. Given Bama's lackluster QB play, the battle of the night will be how we stop Mark Ingram. And hey, remember that coach?

Bit of Preseason B-Ball news. Tasmin is a unanimous 1st-team All-SEC pick and has been put on the Naismith watch list, while Hightower received votes for the AP All-American team.

And it wouldn't be a big game week without a hype video. The Internets Provideth...

Take a good look, it could be decades before we pull the old rag out again.

It was a great performance, no doubt about it. It was great to see LSU blow out an opponent, even if there was little on-field excitement. But as Pittman at ATVS points out, not much you can take away from a Tulane game. More analysis from the usual places will be free flowing this week as LSU prepares for the season defining game at Bama.

Yes, LSU has a hockey team and they lost 5-4 to Tulane on Wednesday. There was a rematch scheduled for Friday night, but a report on the game is hard to come by for obvious reasons.

One of the highlights of Saturday's game was this video they showed during one of the breaks. It doesn't seem like much, but those who stayed late really got into it and everybody left in Tiger Stadium was having a good time by the end.

TUCKING FULANE!!!!

It's always something when Tucking Fulane comes to town. Due to massive flooding, The Geaux Show Equipment Trailer, Powered by your Ryan Chevy Cadillac Dealer, is on an island surrounded by water in what was once a north Monroe suburb. So no live show this weekend, Blame the Greenies.

In leiu of a show, you should spend the time to read this great story from espn about Billy Cannon. This weekend marks the end of his transistion back into hero status in Louisiana, and franky I'm glad to have him back.

Sorry, no Midweek show this week, Wee caught the swine flu. Instead enjoy this nice video.

AD Joe Alleva had a massive Q&A session in a History of Colligate Sports Class (yes, there is now something better than basket weaving) and a little birdie was smart enough to write down most of what he said. All sorts of info on every topic imaginable was covered including future plans for various facilities.

Next weeks game has been set at 2:30 pm on CBS. And don't forget to order your Tigervision before Saturday.

Failed to mention this last week, but most of the Old Alex Box is up for auction, with new items appearing weekly. Best available this week? The Section Right 1 sign ($200, no bids yet)

This weekend marks the 50th anniversary of Billy Cannon's Midnight Run. There will be some form of commemoration during the game this weekend, and Dr. Cannon was on hand for a great press conference on Monday.

And here's Coach Miles' Monday press conference.

Always feels good on Monday after a win.

Les Miles Postgame press conference

The Offense finally clicked and the platitudes are rolling in. Rosetta at the Advoc thinks we should be back in the conference championship debate.  Kleinpeter at the Times-Pic has a very complete set of game notes. Whittaker at the Rev has a few good quotes from players after the game (R. Sheppard on his run: "When I was running I was like, ‘This cannot be true.’") Even Poseur at ATVS is happy with the performance this weekend. Of course all of this points to a much larger game at Alabama in 2 weeks.

If you missed the game, Here's the highlights with Coach's opinion on the game.
